The organizational structure
In this section we are pleased to present the organizational structure of the Bologna University Hospital Authority St. Orsola-Malpighi Polyclinic.
The General Director is responsible for the management of the hospital with the support of the Healthcare Head Office and Administrative Head Office.
The business structure provides a number of Staff Offices with the duty of supplying technical support and specialized services to the General Head Office. Their goal is to achieve the corporate hospital goals and ensure that the development of the values and culture within the organization is consistent with the corporate mission.
There are also transverse, administrative and technical executive offices.
The Advisory Committee (Comitato Consultivo Misto), consisting of representatives of both volunteer associations and the Hospital Authority, offers consultation to and designs proposals for the Hospital managing bodies.
